About the Artist:
I have always been interested in a variety of arts. I have been airbrushing since 1993, screenprinting & embroidering since 1997, and quilting since 1999. I have to admit that since discovering fiber arts, I have had a hard time focusing on other artwork.  I just feel that I have to make "stuff" every day. That may take the form of quilting, or dyeing fabric or fibers, knitting some socks or mittens, digitizing patterns, or designing new patterns. I just have to make something every day.

My business Digi-Tech ( www.digitechpatterns.com) has grown considerably since I started out.
I now offer complete design services, screenprinting & embroidery for corporate & institutions, as well as individuals. I also provide custom longarm quilting services & over the last year I have added the Digi-Tech website where we provide downloadable quilting & embroidery patterns for computerized & handguided quilting machines, as well as hand quilters, along with machine embroidery formats available on many of the designs.  My husband & I provide custom digitizing services for both quilting & embroidery designs. I have also begun to add many of the dyeing & dye-painting products that I use in class/workshops to the website along with my hand dyed fabrics, yarns, & rovings.

Thank you for taking the time to look. Jessica

Past Work
Sunset Rose  is one of my past works, I painted it in 2003. I dye painted it using my airbrush, then used some of my husband, John's hand dyed fabrics for the leaves. It is heavily machine quilted with my longarm machine. Exhibited at MQS -2003, Dunn County Fair 2003, Innovations 2004, & Road to CA 2005.

Here are some of my past Dye Painting Projects. I used my airbrush w/ fiber reactive dyes to paint large quilt tops that are later quilted. Both of the  tops below were commissioned by Sue Schmeiden of  The Quilting Connection.
